‘Tesoros y piedras. El significado del patrimonio histórico’ is the new and evocative documentary series by Fascina Producciones in which the Burgos Film Commission has collaborated. A journey through the sentimental memory of Castilla y León through its heritage, especially the most forgotten. Forty-six heritage sites appear in this first season, as their creators have expressed their desire to continue. Twenty-nine heritage specialists have participated, in the case of Burgos, Professor María Pilar Alonso Abad from the University of Burgos, and nine artistic performances have been carried out.
The eagerly awaited premiere will take place on Thursday 23 February at 23:25 and successive chapters will continue to be broadcast on the following Thursdays at the same time on Castilla y León Televisión (CYL 7 and CYL 8) or simultaneously on the Castilla y León Televisión website. For those who are unable to see it on that broadcast, they will have the opportunity to watch it on the same channels on Saturdays from 17:55 hours or through Photocall TV.
Ávila will be the first province, followed, in this order, by Valladolid, Zamora, León, Segovia, Soria, Burgos, Palencia and Salamanca. Burgos, therefore, will be the protagonist of the seventh episode, which will be released on 6 April. It features the monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos, San Pedro de Arlanza, the quarries of Hontoria and Peña Amaya.
