The Collalba Cultural Association and the Casa Libélula Association are collaborating to develop the 1st Collalba Co-Laboratory Festival for Children’s Rights in Cilleruelo de Abajo (Burgos).
Both organisations aim to make children’s rights more visible. The aim is to spend a day focusing on childhood and approaching it from different points of view: training and awareness-raising, leisure and culture.

In the morning, workshops will be held with the aim of making children aware of their rights, as set out in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the importance of fulfilling them. Special emphasis will be placed on the importance of child participation as a thermometer of a healthy society that leaves no one behind.

In the evening there will be an evening of children’s entertainment.
And as a finale, as part of the ‘Cilleruelo, Cultura de Cine’ project in which the Burgos Provincial Council collaborates, the short film ‘Binta y la gran idea’, by Javier Fesser, will be screened, with which children, but especially adults, will be able to reflect on some of the rights of children, such as education, non-discrimination and the expression of their own opinion and that this be taken into account.
