Shot in Burgos

Burgos, both city and province, have been the scene of film productions since the dawn of cinema. The first film on record, ‘Burgos Voyage’ (1911), was a Pathé production directed by Segundo de Chomón. From that first moment, both the city and province of Burgos have hosted national and international shootings (features, documentaries, shorts, video clips or advertising spots) and great directors such as Sergio Leone, José Luis Garci and Vicente Aranda, and actors of stature like Clint Eastwood, Francisco Rabal, Maribel Verdú, Claudia Cardinale and Fernando Fernán Gómez have passed triumphed here.

Burgos is, has been, and will be a true cinema destination.
